The Atlas Performing Arts Center – Heart of the H Street NE Renaissance

H Street Northeast, once a vibrant retail, commercial and entertainment corridor, is poised for a renaissance.  Its cultural centerpiece stands 13 blocks east of Union Station: the historic Atlas Theatre and Shops.  Vacant for over 25 years, the complex is being restored and renovated as a dynamic performing arts center. Unique in D.C., this community based complex -- with four performance spaces and three dance studios -- is designed to present theatre, dance and music and to provide instruction in stagecraft and the performing arts.

The Atlas, LLC is dedicated to providing quality performing arts spaces at the Atlas Performing Arts Center to professional non-profit arts organizations.
